The Creative Process
I always divide my projects into three milestones. This way you can track the project's progress step by step and don't pay all the amount at once.
PRE-PRODUCTION
1. DISCUSS THE SCRIPT
It's a crucial step in planning and shooting the commercial, with what will happen in the video, including scenes, camera angles, character interactions, and dialogue.
2. CREATE A SHOT LIST
based on the script, with the narrative, dialogue, and actions that will occur in the commercial.
3. MAIL YOUR PRODUCTS
(if they are involved)
4. CASTING CALL
Cast models and actors to best fit your project requirements.
5. LOCATION SCOUTING
Scout for filming locations specified in the script.
6. CALL SHEET
A call sheet will be created, detailing the schedule, location, cast and crew information, and other important logistical information for the shoot day. This sheet helps keep the production organized and on track.
PRODUCTION
1. FILMING
Once the pre-production is complete, I will proceed to the filming stage. I prefer using cinema cameras and professional equipment, lighting, and software to ensure the highest video production quality. Depending on the complexity and deadline (if applicable) of the project, I will involve as much crew as needed to achieve the desired results.
* AERIAL AND UNDERWATER FILMING
Aerial and underwater shots can bring a fresh and captivating dimension to your video content, making it more immersive and visually appealing. However, they are not a must for all the videos I produce. Based on your script and project requirements, I will suggest the most efficient way to execute your project, including whether aerial or underwater shots are recommended.
POST-PRODUCTION
1. AUDIO
I will select licensed soundtracks and apply sound effects to enhance the audio experience of your video.
2. VISUAL
I will colour-correct and grade your video. Understanding how colours affect the viewer's emotions is extremely important, that's why I always customize the colour grade to match the theme of the video.
In this stage, I will also be including and editing your brand's digital files, add text and graphics as needed, and create smooth transitions and effects to best fit the visuals of your project.
3. FINAL CUT
After sending you the finalized project for reviewal, I will be waiting for your approval and in case make the last changes.
Export revised video into required versions, and deliver the ultimate ready for integration into your marketing and advertising campaigns project.
